As
a digital artist I am interested in visually fabricating human
experiences that lie somewhere between the nature of digital
and
fine art. I find that using the computer as a medium, a tool,
and a visual voice to be endlessly liberating. These individual
pieces are intimate portraits that uncover layers of deep sensibilities
such as fear, anxiety, longing and self-identity that haunt
us all. Being a young woman, artist, and professional in 2001
is extremely challenging. However, having the freedom
at least to manifest these emotional states through art is
a release, a therapy and a gift.
